Chicken Creole Pasta

Main Ingredients:

  • 1lb Penne Pasta

  • Tony Chachere Creole Seasoning - NO REPLACEMENTS

  • Chicken Breast/Tenders OR Shrimp

  • 2 Bundles of Green Onion

  • 4-8 Cloves of Garlic

  • 1-2 Pints of Heavy Cream

  • Parmesan Cheese

  • Some Butta

How to Cook It:

  1. Chop Green onions, press garlic, & grate cheese

  2. Cut chicken into 1” cubes (or whatever size you like)

  3. Heat pan on Medium

  4. GENEROUSLY season chicken with a lot of creole seasoning - as Mom always says “more than you think you need”

  5. Drop in some butter & cook the seasoned chicken. Once cooked, pull them out of the pan and set aside

  6. Bring pot of water to boil with a lot of salt

  7. In the same pan, drop in more butter and your chopped green onions and sautee those down (3 or so mins)

  8. Once you like the look of the green onions, toss in your garlic and cook until fragrant

  9. Drop in your Pasta

  10. Pour in your heavy cream and bring to a nice bubble, then lower heat and let it cook until it starts to thicken a bit

  11. Add in some of the grated cheese and more seasoning if you’d like (why not)

  12. Strain pasta and add pasta to the sauce

  13. Stir and add in more cheese if you’d like

  14. And enjoy!

If you want to be “healthy” you can boil some broccoli in with your pasta and then add that to the sauce. Snap peas are good too
